After, one and a half month of Indonesian journey, I wanted to end my trip at a very peaceful place which is not very touristic. And I decided to spend the very last week in Jimbaran. It’s very quite and serene.
I stayed at a very beautiful, luxury bungalow, La Cabane for two nights. I stayed in their Deluxe Bungalow-LUA, which costs INR 10000 ($140) a night. I really wanted to see what it was like to spend two days in pure luxury.
The bungalow is situated between Balangan Beach and a nearby secret beach. The place is very easy to locate.
I checked in a little late and was greeted my Made (one of the staff member). She is just amazing. A very kind and friendly lady who speaks very good English (though she was balinese). Made welcomed me with a huge smile and a delectable watermelon juice. And I still crave for it, haha.
I saw the pictures of the place and was very excited. And I was left speechless when I saw it. It was so cosy and peaceful.
The room was quite spacious. I really loved the decor of the room. It was simple yet looked very classy. I had my own private balcony with the garden view.
And the BEST part or the thing I LOVED the most is the semi open bathroom. It is the eye catching part of the bungalow. The big, cosy bath tub increased its charm.
The bathroom has a jungle view. I know, it might sound a little weird for some of you but trust me it wasn’t scary at all. It was a maintained jungle. So you don’t need to worry about anything. It is built in an eco-conscious way and hence more suitable for the travellers who love the nature and it’s creations.
Apart from this, they get your breakfast delivered to you every morning in your balcony. Sounds amazing, no? They do all the arrangements to make your breakfast and your morning perfect. They have a good variety to choose from. I loved their watermelon juice and the berry jam with the toast.
They share the pool with the adjacent villas, accessible through the same entrance. The pool was grand. And the ocean view from the pool is splendid. It’s a good place to read your favourite book! 😉
Also the property rents bikes too for $5 per day. So, I recommend exploring the nearby beaches and other places. There are a few restaurants nearby which offers amazing balinese food. There is a local restaurant which looks very simple, I don’t remember the name! But this place has got some very delicious Nasi Campur (local food). This restaurant is very close to the Nirmala Super Market and has two-three dogs too. I hope now it’s a little easy to find. 😛
In the end, I just want to say, “I would love to visit them again”. It was a splendid luxury treatment. A big hug to Celine and Made for making my stay super duper amazing! 🙂
